Hope for Tomorrow (Registered Charity No. 1094677) is a national cancer charity, which helps those with cancer, their families and dependents cope with the reality of the situation. Funds raised will go towards our Mobile Chemotherapy Unit project. The charity has recently launched two new vehicles: a Mobile Chemotherapy Assessment Unit and a Mobile Chemotherapy Support Vehicle.
Charity Patron Sir Stirling Moss unveiled Hope Tomorrow’s new Mobile Chemotherapy Unit on Saturday 26th June at the Fleet Support Group Charity Polo Day, which will be operated by NHS Somerset.

The ambition of Hope for Tomorrow is to help cancer sufferers to receive their chemotherapy treatment close to home. We are delighted that Somerset will be operating our second Mobile Chemotherapy Unit, our immediate ambition being to have more units working in the South West of England, and ultimately to develop the programme on a wider national basis”.
- Lord MacLaurin – Chairman Trustees – Hope for Tomorrow
NHS Somerset is delighted for the opportunity that Hope for Tomorrow will bring patients in rural Somerset. Being a very rural county, some cancer patients currently have to travel as long as an hour to hospital in order to receive their chemotherapy treatment. Access to this mobile service promises treatment much closer to home.”
- Rachel Levenson. Associate Director of NSF Developments, NHS Somerset
In 2009 a series of musical coincidences brought Geoffrey Bray, Adrienne and Paul Hale together with the intention of collaborating on the next CD in the Four Old Blokes series, a collection of cover songs where all monies raised go to the charity Hope for Tomorrow.
Following a moment of inspiration, Geoffrey penned the lyrics for the 'Hope for Tomorrow' song. Paul then applied his musical talent to create the arrangement which perfectly suited the beautiful voice of Adrienne.
The result is the haunting song 'Hope for Tomorrow'. We hope you like it.
I was moved to tears when I first listened to this beautiful song - at first I was sad but then, as I listened to the music and the words that reflect so well what is in my heart, I became uplifted, encouraged and inspired. I am sure others who have suffered the loss of someone very close and very dear will gain the same comfort, serenity and quiet pleasure this wonderful piece of music gave me."
- Christine Mills
The single "Hope for Tomorrow" will be released on 10th August 2010 with 100% of the cover price of the CD going to Hope for Tomorrow.
